Red Lion PXU31D20 is a digital temperature/process PID controller designed for flush mounting with an operational ambient air temperature range of 0 to +50°C and a network frequency of 50/60 Hz. It features a 4-20mA control analog output and a secondary relay control output within a 1/16 DIN (48x48mm) design, showcasing 11mm orange and 7mm green digits for clear display. The supply voltage accommodates a wide range from 100 to 240Vac, including specific values such as 100Vac, 110Vac, 120Vac, 200Vac, 208Vac, 220Vac, 230Vac, and 240Vac. As part of the PXU PID controllers series, it measures 1/16 DIN (W48mm x H48mm / 1.89" x 1.89") and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 NEMA 4X. The controller has a 10Hz analog input sampling rate and supports RS-485 communication protocol. It includes 1 x digital output (contact type) for secondary control output 2, and features two analog inputs for a wide range of signals including 4-20mA, 0-20mA, 0-50mVdc, 0-5Vdc, 0-10Vdc, various thermocouple types (T, E, J, K, R, S, B, N, L, U, TXK), and RTD with a 100ms sample period and 0.1 to 1° accuracy, plus an additional analog input for remote setpoint input. The controller also provides heater current monitoring protection functions, one digital input for user input, and one analog output (4-20mA) for the main control output.
