Banner Engineering TM18VN6RQ8 is a photo-electric sensor designed for heavy-duty applications, part of the TM18 series. This sensor operates as a receiver in a through-beam system, housed in a nickel-plated die-cast zinc with a polycarbonate lens. It features a pre-equipped 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity and supports a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The TM18VN6RQ8 offers a threaded mount for installation, can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C, and is rated for IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6 for protection against ingress. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates integration, and it includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor) for signaling. The sensor boasts a sensing distance of 20m, utilizes visible red light for detection, and provides a quick response time of 1.5ms. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, with an M18 thread size for mounting.
