Red Lion CSPID1RM is an I/O unit designed for DIN rail mounting, suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from 0 to +50°C. It features one analog output capable of retransmission in formats of 4-20mA, 0-20mA, or 0-10Vdc. The unit is equipped with three digital outputs: two of contact type NO (OP1; OP2) and one of NO/NC SPDT contact type (OP3). It offers two analog inputs: one supporting a wide range of inputs including 4-20mA, 0-20mA, 0-10Vdc, various thermocouple types (T, E, J, K, R, S, B, N, C), Pt100, and Ni120 RTDs with a 67ms sample period, 200-250ms response time, and 16-bits resolution; and another dedicated for Heater Current Monitoring (HCM). This single-loop PID module, part of the Modular multi-zone PID controllers series, incorporates heater current monitoring protection functions. It connects to a base controller and supports a 15Hz analog input sampling rate.
