PULS YR20.246 is a redundancy unit from the Y-series designed for dual-input redundancy (2 x inputs + 1 x output) with a built-in decoupling MOSFET, suitable for 1+1 or N+1 redundancy configurations and has ATEX approval. It operates with a supply voltage range of 18Vdc-35Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and supports a rated current of 20A at 48Vdc. The unit features screw-clamp connections for secure installation and is designed for DIN rail mounting. It can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The dimensions of the unit are W32mm x H124mm x D117mm. It includes protection functions against short-circuits, with a threshold of 26A at 6V, and supports series or parallel operation for redundancy. The output voltage range is 24-48Vdc (24Vdc / 48Vdc nominal), with power dissipation/losses varying between 2.6 W and 5.6 W depending on the input conditions. The electrical durability of the unit ranges from 182,000 to 1,053,000 hours, depending on the operating conditions. The output stage capacitance is 320 µF, and the ripple is specified as 100-500mVpp (20Hz...20MHz; 50Ω).
