UC10.242 Puls UPS (DC)

PULS UC10.242 is an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) control module within the UC-series, featuring a bfr. module design with capacitive storage, separated inputs and outputs, and a green status LED. This DC/DC UPS control module is encased in an aluminium housing and utilizes spring-clamp connections for connectivity. It measures W198mm x H124mm x D117mm and operates on a supply voltage range of 22.5Vdc to 30Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc. The rated current is 15A, both nominal and before (bfr.), and it is designed for DIN rail mounting. The UC10.242 can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +60°C and has a current consumption of 1.1A at a 24Vdc input. It supports a DC network type and includes visual position indicators for Ready, Buffering, Inhibit, and PC-mode. Protection functions include output overvoltage protection with a typical 32Vdc and a maximum of 35Vdc, and overload/short-circuit protection with a minimum of 17.9A and a maximum of 21A at load impedance. Series or parallel operation is not supported. The output voltage is a fixed 24Vdc, with a turn-ON voltage of 23Vdc, and it boasts an efficiency of 0.978 at a 24Vdc input. The rated power is 360W at 24Vdc, with hold times of 33 seconds at 10A and 18 seconds at 15A. Power dissipation/losses are 2.9W at 0A output current and 4.6W at 10A output current, with a ripple of 30mVpp across 20Hz to 20MHz at 50Ω. Electrical durability ranges from 324000 hours at 25°C and 10A output to 34000 hours at 55°C and 15A output. The capacitance at the output stage is 1500µF.
