Pilz PILZ-890140 is a protection unit designed for true power monitoring with a relay that supports 9 different measuring ranges. It features adjustable switching thresholds for underload and overload conditions, along with customizable monitoring reaction times and start-up suppression times. This unit is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. It has a net height of 87 mm and is designed to handle a rated current of 18A for measuring, with safety output contacts ratings ranging from 0.1A to 5A at 24Vdc (DC-1; 120W) and 0.1A to 1.5A at 24Vdc (DC-13). The connection is established via fixed screw terminal connections. As part of the S1WP sub-range, it measures 22.5mm in width, offers an IP40 degree of protection, and requires a supply voltage of 20.4-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal). The frequency range for measurement extends up to 1kHz, and it is housed in a PPO material. This unit can be used with both single-phase (1AC) and three-phase (3AC) inputs, with a rated voltage measuring capacity of 0-550Vac/dc. The net width is 22.5 mm, and it consumes 2W of power. Its depth is 121 mm, and it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C. It includes 1 x auxiliary output (SPDT-NO/NC contacts; 0.1-5A 24Vdc DC-1 120W resistive load) for digital outputs, 1 x analog input for current measurement (K1-UL1), and 1 x analog input for voltage measurement (L1-L3), alongside 1 x analog output for voltage (U) and current (I) monitoring. The protection functions include underpower and overpower monitoring.
