Pilz PILZ-840740 is a protection unit designed for thermistor monitoring relay thermistor monitoring. It features DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55 °C. The unit has a net height of 87 mm and is designed with an automatic reset function. It utilizes fixed screw terminal connections for secure installation and requires a supply voltage of 195.5-253Vac (230Vac nominal) within the S1MS sub-range. The dimensions include a width of 22.5 mm and a depth of 121 mm, offering a compact form factor with an IP40 degree of protection. The housing is made from PPO material, ensuring durability. Power consumption is rated at 3.5 VA. The operating mode is set to automatic reset, normally energized mode. For connectivity, it includes 2 x auxiliary outputs (2CO changeover / 2xSPDT-NO/NC contacts) and 2 x analog inputs (T1-T2 measuring circuits) for comprehensive monitoring.
