Pilz PILZ-840410 is a protection unit designed for thermistor monitoring relay applications, featuring DIN rail mounting for ease of installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55 °C and has a net height of 87 mm. The unit is equipped with fixed screw terminal connections and requires a supply voltage of 195.5-253Vac (230Vac nominal) under the S1MN sub-range. With dimensions of W22.5mm and a degree of protection rated at IP40, the PILZ-840410 is housed in a PPO material ensuring durability. It has a net width of 22.5 mm and a depth of 121 mm, with a power consumption of 3.5 VA. This model supports both automatic and manual reset operating modes in a normally energized configuration. It is designed to withstand ambient air temperatures for storage between -40 and +85 °C. The unit features 2 x auxiliary outputs (2CO changeover / 2xSPDT-NO/NC contacts) for digital outputs, 2 x analog inputs for T1-T2 measuring circuits, and 2 x reset circuit inputs for digital inputs. It offers protection functions specifically for overheating (Thermistor) and boasts a mechanical durability of 10 million operations at no load.
