Pilz PILZ-837280 is a protection unit designed for 3-phase voltage monitoring, including overvoltage and undervoltage monitoring functions. It is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -15 to +55°C. The unit has a net height of 87 mm and supports safety output contacts ratings from 0.1A to 5A at 24Vdc (DC-1; 120W) and 1.5A at 24Vdc (DC-13). Connection is facilitated through fixed screw terminal connections, and it belongs to the S3UM sub-range. With dimensions of W22.5mm x D122 mm and a net width of 22.5 mm, it offers an IP40 degree of protection. The supply voltage requirement is 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal), and it can measure frequencies from 40 to 400Hz. The housing is made of PPO material, and it is designed for a 3-phase (3AC) input network with a rated voltage (AC) for measuring voltage at 440/480Vac. Power consumption is rated at 1.5 W. Operating modes include fault latching/non-latching and normally energized/de-energized modes. It can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C. The unit features 1 x delayed auxiliary output (SPDT-NO/NC contacts; 0.1-5A 24Vdc DC-1 resistive load; 0.5-10s time-delay selectable (ON-delay energization)), 1 x analog input (L1-L3 voltage measurement), and protection functions against undervoltage, overvoltage, phase sequence, phase failure, and asymmetry. Digital inputs include 1 x automatic reset (Y1-Y2 linked) and 1 x switching commutation (Y2-Y3).
