Pilz PILZ-828010 is a protection unit designed for current monitoring relay applications, featuring DIN rail mounting for easy installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -15 to +55°C and has a net height of 87 mm. The design ensures that measuring inputs are not polarity-sensitive, and it can handle a rated current from 0.01 to 15A. Connection is facilitated through fixed screw terminal connections, and it belongs to the S1IM sub-range. With dimensions of W22.5mm x D121 mm and a net width of 22.5 mm, this unit offers an IP40 degree of protection and requires a 24Vdc supply voltage. It is capable of measuring frequencies from 40 to 400Hz and is constructed with a PPO housing. Designed for single-phase (1AC) input networks, it has a low power consumption of 1 W. The operating modes include fault latching/non-latching and normally energized/de-energized modes. It can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C. The unit features 1 x auxiliary output (SPDT-NO/NC contacts) for digital outputs, and protection functions against overcurrent. Digital inputs include 1 x latching/non-latching input, 1 x energized/de-energized mode input, and 1 x measuring range input for versatile application.
