Pilz PILZ-827255 is a protection unit designed as a single-phase voltage monitoring relay suitable for DIN rail mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -15 to +55°C and has a net height of 87 mm. The unit features safety output contacts with ratings of 0.1A-5A at 240Vac (AC-1; 1200VA) and 2A at 230Vac (AC-15), utilizing fixed screw terminal connections. It requires a supply voltage of 195.5-264Vac (230Vac / 240Vac nominal) within the S1UM sub-range and offers a compact design with dimensions of W22.5mm x D121 mm, and a net width of 22.5 mm, ensuring an IP40 degree of protection. The frequency measuring range is 0.4-400Hz, housed in a PPO material casing. This unit is designed for single-phase (1AC) input networks with a rated voltage for measuring of 0.1-500Vac/dc (adjustable). It consumes 2 VA of power and supports both fault latching/non-latching and normally energized/de-energized operating modes. The ambient air temperature for storage is specified as -40 to +85°C. It includes 1 x auxiliary output (SPDT-NO/NC contacts; 0.1-5A 240Vac AC-1 resistive load) and digital inputs for de-energized mode (Y1-Y2) and latching (Y3). The protection functions cover overvoltage with a response time of 0.1-10 seconds.
