Product description
Pilz PILZ-827240 is a protection unit designed for single-phase voltage monitoring with DIN rail mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -15 to +55°C and has a net height of 87 mm. The design ensures that measuring inputs are not polarity-sensitive. It features safety output contacts ratings of 0.1A-5A at 240Vac (AC-1; 1200VA) and 2A at 230Vac (AC-15), with fixed screw terminal connections. The supply voltage is between 35.7-52.8Vac (42Vac / 48Vac nominal) under the sub-range name S1UM. Dimensions include a width of 22.5mm and a degree of protection rated at IP40. The frequency measuring range is 0.4-400Hz, housed in a PPO material. It is suitable for single-phase (1AC) input networks with a rated voltage for measuring between 0.1-500Vac/dc, adjustable. The net width is 22.5 mm, and it consumes 2 VA of power with a net depth of 121 mm. Operating modes include fault latching or non-latching, normally energized mode, or normally de-energized mode. It can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C. The unit has 1 x auxiliary output (SPDT-NO/NC contacts; 0.1-5A 240Vac AC-1 resistive load) and digital inputs for de-energized mode (Y1-Y2) and latching (Y3). Protection functions cover overvoltage, with a response time of 0.1-10 s.
