Product description
Pilz PILZ-787314 is a safety relay designed for dual-channel safety operations, including two-hand monitoring type III C. It features DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C. The device has a net height of 101 mm, with rated current specifications for safety output contacts at 5A for both 24Vdc (DC-1) and 240Vac (AC-1), 1.5A for 24Vdc (DC-13), and 2.5A for 230Vac (AC-15). Connection is facilitated through plug-in/detachable spring terminal connections. As part of the P2HZ X1P sub-range, it measures 45mm in width and 121mm in depth, offering an IP40 degree of protection. The supply voltage requirement is 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal), with a power consumption of 2.5W. The housing is made of PPO with an ABS front, ensuring compatibility with various industrial environments. It operates in dual-channel mode with the capability to detect shorts across contacts, redundant input circuits, earth faults in the start and input circuit, and short circuits in the input circuit. The relay provides 3 x instantaneous safety outputs (3NO) and 1 x instantaneous auxiliary output (1NC), plus 2 x instantaneous auxiliary outputs (semiconductor outputs; 24Vdc; 20mA), alongside digital inputs and a feedback loop input for comprehensive safety and control in automation systems.
