Pilz PILZ-787100 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel safety relay contact expansion with an instantaneous contact expansion function. It is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. The device has a net height of 87 mm and supports a rated current for safety output contacts of 8A at 24Vdc (DC-1), 8A at 240Vac (AC-1), 7A at 24Vdc (DC-13), and 5A at 230Vac (AC-15). Connection is facilitated through plug-in/detachable spring terminal connections. The supply voltage requirements are 20.4-26.4Vac (24Vac nominal) for AC and 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal) for DC, belonging to the PZE 9P sub-range. Dimensions include a width of 90mm and a degree of protection rated at IP40. The housing material consists of PPO for the main body and ABS for the front housing, with a net width of 90 mm and a depth of 121 mm. Power consumption is rated at 3.5 W. It features an operating mode that can be either single-channel or dual-channel, with or without detection of shorts across contacts. Digital outputs include 8 x instantaneous safety outputs and 1 x instantaneous auxiliary output. The device also offers protection functions with 2 operating modes, 2 x digital inputs, and 1 x feedback loop input, ensuring versatile application in safety-critical environments.
