Product description
Pilz PILZ-774080 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel operation with capabilities for safety gate monitoring, instantaneous E-STOP monitoring, limit switch monitoring, and monitored manual reset. It is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. This model has a net height of 87 mm, a rated current for safety output contacts of 8A at 24Vdc (DC-1) and 240Vac (AC-1), 7A at 24Vdc (DC-13), and 5A at 230Vac (AC-15), with fixed screw terminal connections. The supply voltage requirements are 35.7-46.2Vac (42Vac / 48Vdc nom.) for AC and 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nom.) for DC. Part of the PNOZ 11 sub-range, it measures 90mm in width, has an IP40 degree of protection, and is constructed from PPO housing with an ABS front housing. The net depth is 121 mm, and it consumes 9 VA of power. The operating modes include options for single-channel operation without redundancy, dual-channel operation with redundancy, automatic start, manual start, and monitored start. It can increase the number of available contacts by connecting to contact expansion modules or external contactors/relays. The digital outputs include 7 x instantaneous safety outputs and 1 x instantaneous auxiliary output, plus 2 x auxiliary outputs (semiconductor outputs) at 24Vdc, 20mA. It also features 2 x digital inputs at 24Vdc, 50mA, and protection functions for detecting shorts across contacts.
