Pilz PILZ-774070 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel operation with capabilities for safety gate monitoring, instantaneous E-STOP monitoring, limit switch monitoring, pressure sensitive edge monitoring, and pressure sensitive mat monitoring. It offers DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. The device has a net height of 87 mm, a rated current for safety output contacts of 8A at 24Vdc (DC-1) and 240Vac (AC-1), 6A at 24Vdc (DC-13), and 5A at 230Vac (AC-15), with fixed screw terminal connections. The supply voltage requirements are 93.5-121Vac (110Vac nominal) for AC and 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal) for DC. Part of the PNOZ 16 sub-range, it measures 45mm in width, has an IP40 degree of protection, and is constructed from PPO housing with an ABS front housing. It features operating modes for single-channel operation without redundancy, dual-channel operation with redundancy and detection of various faults, automatic and manual start options, and operation with pressure sensitive mats. The relay has 2 x instantaneous safety outputs (2NO / 2xSPST-NO each made of 2 N.O. contacts in series; 8A 24Vdc DC-1 or 240Vac AC-1 resistive load), protection functions including detection of shorts across contacts, 2 x digital inputs (24Vdc; 25mA), 1 x feedback input, and 1 x start input.
