Pilz PILZ-773712 is a communications unit designed as an expansion/communication module with a sercos III fieldbus interface, suitable for peripheral device types. It features DIN rail mounting compatibility (35mmx7.5mm; horizontal) and operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C. The unit has a net height of 94 mm and is specifically designed for connection to a base unit. It utilizes an RJ45 connector for its connection type and falls under the communication module sub-range. With dimensions of W27mm and a degree of protection rated at IP20, it supports a supply voltage of 20.4-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.) and 4.9-5.1Vdc (5Vdc nom.; module supply via base unit). The bottom housing is made of PPO, and the front housing is ABS. It has a rated voltage (AC) of 500Vac (test voltage; Sercos III), a net width of 22.5 mm, and communicates via the Sercos protocol.
