Pilz PILZ-773125 is a safety controller designed as a configurable safety base unit or safe small controller. It features airgap creepage distances of 3mm between relay contacts and 5.5mm between relay contacts and other circuits. The unit supports 2 x Ethernet for communication and offers potential isolation with protective separation, having a rated surge voltage of 2500V between SC output and system voltage, and 6000V between relay output and system voltage. It is designed for DIN rail mounting, specifically on a 35mmx7.5mm horizontal rail, and operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C without forced convection and up to +55°C with forced convection off. The net height of the unit is 94mm, and it is expandable for furnace/burner function applications. The rated current specifications include 6A at 24Vdc (DC-1), 6A at 240Vac (AC-1), among others, with connection types accommodating plug-in/detachable screw or spring-loaded terminals. As part of the base unit sub-range, it measures 27mm in width and offers an IP20 degree of protection. The supply voltage requirement is 20.4-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal), constructed from PPO bottom housing and ABS front housing materials. It supports a maximum cable length of 1000m per input and 40km overall for test pulse output, with a net width of 135mm. Communication is facilitated via Ethernet, and it accepts various cross-sections for wiring. Power consumption varies with output external power supply up to 192W, with lower consumption for expansion modules and no load conditions. Response times range from 3s for simultaneity channel max to 0.5s for 2-hand circuit simultaneity, with a rated impulse voltage of 6kV and rated insulation voltage of 250V. Time delays and processing times are specified for various operational parameters, ensuring precise control and safety measures.
