Product description
Pilz PILZ-773105 is a safety controller designed as a configurable safety base unit or safe small controller. It features airgap creepage distances of 3mm between relay contacts and 5.5mm between relay contacts and other circuits. The unit supports 2 x Ethernet for communication and offers potential isolation with protective separation, rated at 2500V between SC output and system voltage, and 6000V between relay output and system voltage. It is designed for DIN rail mounting (35mmx7.5mm; horizontal) and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +60°C. The net height of the unit is 94mm, and it comes in a coated version that is expandable. It has a rated current of 6A at 24Vdc (DC-1), 4A at 24Vdc (DC-1 when t>50°C), 6A at 240Vac (AC-1), 4A at 240Vac (AC-1 when t>50°C), 3A at 24Vdc (DC-13; 6 cycles/min), and 3A at 230Vac (AC-15), with a residual current of 0.5mA at "0" signal and 2A at signal level "1". Connection types include plug-in/detachable screw or spring-loaded terminals with specified stripping lengths. The base unit has dimensions of W27mm, a degree of protection of IP20, and a supply voltage range of 20.4-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.). It is constructed with a PPO bottom housing and ABS front housing, supports a maximum cable length of 1000m per input and 40km overall for test pulse output, and has a net width of 135mm. The communication protocol is Ethernet, and it accommodates various cross-sections for wiring. Power consumption is detailed for output external power supply, expansion modules, and no load conditions. The net depth is 121mm, and it can be stored in ambient air temperatures of -25 to +70°C. It features 4 x digital outputs for safety semiconductor outputs, 1 x digital output for standard auxiliary semiconductor output, 2 x digital outputs for safety relay output, 4 x digital outputs for test pulse outputs, and 1 x digital output for standard cascading. Protection functions include short-circuit proofing, potential isolation, and galvanic isolation. Response times, rated impulse voltage, rated insulation voltage, digital inputs, current consumption, time delays, and processing times are specified to ensure precise operation and integration into safety systems.
