Pilz PILZ-773011W is a configurable safety base unit designed for DIN rail mounting, specifically on a 35mmx7.5mm horizontal rail. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C without forced convection and up to +55°C with forced convection off. This safety controller features an expandable design with a net height of 94mm and offers various connection types, including plug-in/detachable screw or spring-loaded terminals with specified stripping lengths for different connection types. It supports a supply voltage range of 20.4-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and is constructed with a PPO bottom housing and an ABS front housing. The PILZ-773011W can accommodate a maximum cable length of 1000m per input and a total cable length of 40km for test pulse output. It has a net width of 135mm and communicates via the RS-232 protocol. The device is compatible with wire cross-sections ranging from 0.25 to 2.5mm2, depending on the connection type, and has a power consumption of 192W with an external power supply under load, 8W with no load, and 2.5W per expansion module.
