Pilz PILZ-772130 is a communications unit designed for DIN rail mounting, specifically on a 35mmx7.5mm horizontal rail. It functions as a communication module with a CC-Link V1.10 fieldbus interface, supporting device types as a peripheral. The unit allows for a station address range of 1-63d and can be assigned up to 3 stations. It features galvanic isolation for potential isolation between the fieldbus and module voltage, with functional insulation rated at a surge voltage of 500V. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from 0 to +60°C without forced convection and up to +55°C with it. The unit has a net height of 101.4 mm, a rated current of 45mA for the maximum external power supply continuous current, and offers connection via a 5-pin plug-in connector with screw or spring-loaded terminal connections. It is part of the communication module sub-range, measuring 22.5 mm in width, 110.4 mm in depth, and is protected by an IP20-rated PC housing in green. The supply voltage requirements are 19.2-30Vdc with a nominal 24Vdc, and an additional 3.3Vdc for module supply via the base unit. It supports wire cross-sections ranging from 0.25 to 2.5mm2 for various connection types and has a power consumption of 1.1 W from an external power supply or 0.2 W from the supply via the base unit. The unit is designed for storage in ambient air temperatures of -25 to +70°C, incorporates protection functions like galvanic isolation, and has a rated insulation voltage of 30 V.
