Pilz PILZ-772122 is a communications unit designed for DIN rail mounting, specifically on a 35mmx7.5mm horizontal rail. It operates as a communication module with a single serial interface, supporting an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C without forced convection and up to +55°C with it. The unit has a net height of 101.4 mm and offers plug-in/detachable screw or spring-loaded terminal connections, accommodating 2 points per spring-loaded connection with a 9mm stripping length. It falls under the sub-range of communication modules, with dimensions of W27mm and a degree of protection rated at IP20. The supply voltage required is 24Vdc and 3.3Vdc, which is provided via the base unit. Constructed with a PC housing in green, it supports a maximum cable length of 22m per input and has a net width of 22.5 mm. The communication protocol utilized is RS-232, and it can handle a cross-section range of 0.25 to 2.5mm2 for various types of connections.
