Pilz PILZ-772034 is a communications unit designed as an expansion/communication module with a CC-Link V1.10 fieldbus interface. It functions as a peripheral device type with a station address range of 1-63d and supports up to 2 assigned stations. The unit is tested for a voltage of 500Vac, ensuring functional insulation with a rated surge voltage of 500V for potential isolation between the fieldbus and module voltage. It is suitable for DIN rail mounting, specifically on a 35mmx7.5mm horizontal rail, and operates efficiently within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C without forced convection and up to +55°C with forced convection in the control cabinet. The unit has a net height of 100 mm and employs a 5-pin plug-in connector for plug-in/detachable screw or spring-loaded terminal connections, accommodating 2 points per spring-loaded connection with a 9mm stripping length. As part of the communication module sub-range, it measures 27mm in width, offers an IP20 degree of protection, and requires a supply voltage of 19.2-30Vdc (24Vdc nominal). The housing is made of PC material, and the unit's width is 22.5 mm. It supports the CC-Link communication protocol and allows for a variety of wire cross-sections and connection types, including flexible and rigid cores. The power consumption of the module supply is 1.5 W, with a net depth of 110 mm. It can be stored in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C and features protection functions such as galvanic isolation and potential isolation. The rated insulation voltage (Ui) is 30 V, and it supports transmission rates of 156kBit/s, 625kBit/s, 10MBit/s, 2.5MBit/s, and 5MBit/s (CC-Link), with a time delay of 20ms for supply interruption before de-energization.
