Pilz PILZ-632381 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting 14mm opaque objects. This robust type receiver part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60 °C and offers a protective height of 450mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver connections, falling under the PSEN opII4F sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It supports a supply voltage range of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and can accommodate a maximum cable length of 50m. The net dimensions are 454mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. It offers a sensing distance from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is maximized at 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. Additionally, it includes 2 digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and features a response time of 8.4ms with beam coding and 15.2ms. The device is also designed to withstand storage temperatures ranging from -25 to +70 °C.
