Pilz PILZ-632360 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This receiver part of the system operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 300mm. It features a robust design with an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. The device connects via 5-pin M12 connectors for both emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII4H sub-range. With dimensions of 304mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, it supports a maximum cable length of 50m. The safety light curtain operates within a sensing distance of 0.2m to 18m and uses infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. It has a supply voltage requirement of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and consumes a maximum of 1.5W (emitter) and 2.5W (receiver without load). The device is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 5.9ms with beam coding and 11.7ms without. The ambient air temperature for storage is specified as -25 to +70°C.
