Pilz PILZ-632329 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This robust type receiver part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1800mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII3H sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring an IP65 degree of protection against dust and water. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and can accommodate a maximum cable length of 50m. The net dimensions are 1804mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. It offers a sensing distance from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is maximized at 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The device also includes 2 digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time ranging from 12.3ms with beam coding to 22.3ms. It is designed to operate within a storage temperature range of -25 to +70°C.
