Pilz PILZ-632325 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1050mm. This robust type receiver part features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII3H sub-range. With dimensions of 1054mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, it is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. The device supports a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and can accommodate a maximum cable length of 50m. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is maximized at 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. Additionally, it features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 9.1ms with beam coding and 22.3ms otherwise. The device is also designed to withstand storage temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
