Pilz PILZ-632290 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This robust type emitter part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60 °C and offers a protective height of 1800mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII4F sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The PILZ-632290 can facilitate a maximum cable length of 50m, has a net width of 35mm, a depth of 40mm, and an operating range of 0.2m to 8m. It utilizes infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm and includes 2 digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. The response time is 20ms / 0.02 s with beam coding and 91.4ms / 0.0914 s, with a resolution specifically designed for finger protection at 14mm.
