Pilz PILZ-632270 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This robust type emitter part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1800mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII4H sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. Dimensions include a net height of 1804mm, width of 35mm, and depth of 40mm. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850nm. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with response times of 12.3ms with beam coding and 22.3ms. The device is IP65 rated and can be used with cable lengths up to 50m.
