Pilz PILZ-632243 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 450mm. This robust type emitter part features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver connections, falling under the PSEN opII3F sub-range. With dimensions including a net height of 454mm, width of 35mm, and depth of 40mm, it is constructed from an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and PC front screen, ensuring durability. The device supports a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has a maximum cable length of 50m. It provides a sensing distance operating range of 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with a response time of 8.4ms with beam coding and 15.2ms otherwise. The degree of protection is rated at IP65, suitable for various industrial environments, and it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
