Pilz PILZ-632130 is a safety light curtain designed for body protection, capable of detecting opaque objects with a minimum size of 170mm. This emitter and receiver pair is part of the PSEN opII4B sub-range and features a robust design with an aluminium housing, zinc end caps, and a PC front screen. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C for operation and -25 to +70°C for storage. The device offers a protective height of 1500mm and a net height of 1504mm, with dimensions including a net width of 35mm and a net depth of 40mm. It supports a sensing distance from 0.2m to 15m and utilizes infrared LED (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The safety light curtain has a supply voltage requirement of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver. Power consumption is max 1.5W for the emitter and max 2.5W for the receiver without load. It includes 2 x digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and offers a response time of 5.4ms / 0.0054 s with beam coding and 11.7ms / 0.0117 s. The device is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction.
