Pilz PILZ-632103 is a safety light curtain designed for body protection, capable of detecting opaque objects with a minimum size of 170mm. This emitter and receiver pair is part of the PSEN opII3B sub-range and features a robust design with an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and a PC front screen. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C for operation and -25 to +70°C for storage. The device offers a protective height of 750mm and overall dimensions of 754mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. It connects via 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure and reliable connection. The PILZ-632103 operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It features an infrared LED light source with a wavelength of 850 nm and a sensing distance ranging from 0.2m to 15m. The device is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It also includes two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver (OSSD outputs) and has a response time of 5.2ms with beam coding and 11.7ms without. The maximum cable length supported is 50m.
