Pilz PILZ-632085 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This emitter and receiver pair is part of the PSEN opII4F sub-range and is housed in a robust aluminium casing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C for operation and -25 to +70°C for storage. The device features a protective height of 1050mm, with overall dimensions of 1054mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. It connects via 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver, supporting a maximum cable length of 50m. The PILZ-632085 operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a power consumption of up to 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It offers a sensing distance range of 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The device is IP65 rated for protection against dust and water ingress and features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. Its response time varies between 13.6ms with beam coding and 91.4ms, ensuring timely detection and response to safety hazards.
