Pilz PILZ-632082 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting 14mm opaque objects with an emitter and receiver pair. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60 °C and offers a protective height of 600mm. This robust type light curtain features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII4F sub-range. It has an IP65 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made of aluminium, with zinc end caps and a PC front screen. It supports a maximum cable length of 50m and has dimensions of 604mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 9.7ms with beam coding and 42.3ms. The device can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70 °C.
