Pilz PILZ-632063 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting 30mm opaque objects across a sensing distance of 0.2m to 18m. This emitter and receiver pair is housed in an aluminium body with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60 °C for operation and -25 to +70 °C for storage. The device features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, facilitating straightforward connectivity. With a protective height of 750mm and dimensions of 754mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, it fits into various industrial settings. The PILZ-632063 operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It emits infrared LED light at a wavelength of 850 nm and includes two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver's OSSD outputs. The device's response time varies between 7.8ms with beam coding and 15.2ms, and it is designed to be robust with an IP65 degree of protection, suitable for a maximum cable length of 50m.
