Pilz PILZ-632051 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting 30mm opaque objects across a sensing distance of 0.2m to 18m. It features an emitter and receiver pair with a robust design, housed in aluminium with zinc end caps and a PC front screen. This unit operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C for operation and -25 to +70°C for storage. It offers a protective height of 300mm and overall dimensions of 304mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. The connection is facilitated through 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The PILZ-632051 emits infrared LED light at a wavelength of 850 nm and includes 2 digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. It is designed with a response time of 5.9ms with beam coding and 11.7ms, offering a resolution of 30mm for hand protection. The device is IP65 rated, indicating a high level of protection against dust and water, and supports a maximum cable length of 50m.
