Pilz PILZ-632044 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. It features an emitter and receiver pair with a robust design, housed in aluminium with zinc end caps and a PC front screen. This unit operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 900mm. It is equipped with 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. The PILZ-632044 operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It supports a sensing distance from 0.2m to 8m and utilizes infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The device is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver (OSSD outputs) and has a response time ranging from 12.3ms to 42.3ms, depending on beam coding. The overall dimensions are 904mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, with a maximum cable length of 50m.
