Pilz PILZ-631147 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection with a resolution of 14mm, capable of detecting opaque objects. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55 °C and offers a protective height of 600mm. This model features a slim design without a dead zone, thanks to its cascading option, and includes an emitter and receiver pair. The connection is facilitated by 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver. Classified under the Slim sub-range, it has dimensions of 600mm in height, 15.4mm in width, and 32.6mm in depth, with a protective degree of IP65. The supply voltage requirement is 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc. Constructed with an aluminium housing, die-cast zinc alloy end caps, and a PMMA front screen, it supports a maximum cable length of 20m. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 6m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.6 W for the emitter and max 4.2 W for the receiver, featuring 60 beams with a 14mm beam gap. It includes 2 digital outputs (500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 11ms in cascading mode and 20ms otherwise. The device is also designed to withstand storage temperatures between -25 and +70 °C.
