Pilz PILZ-631124 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, featuring a slim design with a 900mm protective height and a 24mm resolution for detecting opaque objects. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55 °C and offers a sensing distance from 0.2m to 6m. This model does not support cascading and ensures no dead zone in its detection field. It includes an emitter and receiver pair, each connecting via a 5-pin M12 connector. The PILZ-631124 belongs to the Slim sub-range and is constructed with an aluminium housing, die-cast zinc alloy end caps, and a PMMA front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has a maximum cable length of 20m. The net dimensions are 900mm in height, 15.4mm in width, and 32.6mm in depth. It utilizes infrared LED (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm and has a power consumption of maximum 1.6W for the emitter and 4.2W for the receiver. The device features 48 beams with a 24mm beam gap, two digital outputs (500mA) for the receiver (OSSD outputs), and response times of 11ms for cascading and 20ms.
