Pilz PILZ-631102 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, featuring a slim design with a cascading option that eliminates dead zones. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a protective height of 300mm. This model comes with an emitter and receiver pair, each connecting via a 5-pin M12 connector. Classified under the Slim sub-range, it boasts an IP65 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made of aluminium, with die-cast zinc alloy end caps and a PMMA front screen. It supports a maximum cable length of 20m and has a net width of 15.4mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 6m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.6 W for the emitter and max 4.2 W for the receiver. It features 16 beams with a 24mm beam gap, a net depth of 32.6 mm, and offers two digital outputs (300mA) from the receiver (OSSD outputs). The response time is 8ms for cascading and 20ms, with a resolution of 24mm for detecting opaque objects the size of a hand.
