Pilz PILZ-631047 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection with a resolution of 30mm, capable of detecting opaque objects. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 1506.3 mm. This model features a variety of functions including test, manual/automatic restart, EDM reset, and muting. It is designed with muting, blanking, and cascading options and has no dead zone. The part consists of an emitter and receiver pair, with a rated current of 20mA-300mA for an external lamp. Connection is facilitated through a 5-pin M12 connector for the emitter and 12-pin and 5-pin M12 connectors for the receiver in the muting model. Classified under the Advanced sub-range, it has a protective height of 1500mm and is IP65 rated for protection. The supply voltage required is 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc. The housing is made of vanished Aluminium, with a PBT terminal cap, PMMA front screen, and PC cover, in a yellow color. It supports a maximum cable length of 50m, with a net width of 35 mm and a sensing distance of 0.2m to 20m. The light curtain uses infrared LED light with a power consumption of max 3 W for the emitter and max 5 W for the receiver without load. It features 80 beams with a 30mm beam gap, a net depth of 40.8 mm, and operates at a wavelength of 950 nm. Suitable for storage in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C, it includes 2 x digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with a response time of 20ms / 0.02 s, 100ms / 0.1 s when SYNC interrupt, and 2 s.
