Pilz PILZ-631046 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, featuring a resolution of 30mm to detect opaque objects. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 1356.3 mm. This part includes functions such as test, manual/automatic restart, EDM (External Device Monitoring), reset, and muting. It is designed with muting, blanking, and cascading options and has no dead zone. The rated current ranges from 20mA to 300mA for an external lamp, and it connects via a 5-pin M12 connector for the emitter and 12-pin and 5-pin M12 connectors for the receiver in the muting model. Classified under the Advanced sub-range, it has a protective height of 1350mm and an IP65 degree of protection. The supply voltage requirement is 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. Constructed with a vanished Aluminium housing, PBT terminal cap, PMMA front screen, and PC cover, it features a yellow housing. The maximum cable length is 50m, with net dimensions of 35mm in width and 40.8mm in depth. Its sensing distance spans from 0.2m to 20m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 950 nm and a power consumption of max 3 W for the emitter and max 5 W for the receiver without load. It includes 72 beams with a 30mm beam gap, two digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, and has a response time of 19ms, with a reset time of 100ms when SYNC is interrupted and 2 seconds otherwise. The ambient air temperature for storage is between -25 and +70°C.
