Pilz PILZ-631045 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, featuring a muting/blanking/cascading option with no dead zone. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 1206.3 mm. This part is part of the Advanced sub-range and offers a protective height of 1200mm, with a degree of protection rated at IP65. It requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and is constructed from vanished Aluminium housing, PBT terminal cap, PMMA front screen, and a PC cover, with a yellow housing color. The light curtain has a maximum cable length of 50m, a net width of 35 mm, and a sensing distance of 0.2m to 20m. It utilizes an Infrared LED (IR) light with a power consumption of up to 3 W for the emitter and 5 W for the receiver without load. The device features 64 beams with a 30mm beam gap, a net depth of 40.8 mm, and operates at a wavelength of 950 nm. It can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C and includes 2 x digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. The response time is 19ms / 0.019 s, with a reset time of 100ms / 0.1 s when SYNC is interrupted and 2 s. The resolution is set at 30mm for hand protection, and it connects via a 5-pin M12 connector for the emitter and 12-pin and 5-pin M12 connectors for the receiver muting model, supporting a rated current of 20mA-300mA for an external lamp.
