Pilz PILZ-631043 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, featuring a muting, blanking, and cascading option with no dead zone. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 906.3 mm. This model includes an emitter and receiver pair, capable of detecting 30mm opaque objects across a protective height of 900mm. It supports a rated current of 20mA-300mA for an external lamp and offers connection via a 5-pin M12 connector for the emitter and 12-pin and 5-pin M12 connectors for the receiver in the muting model. Classified under the Advanced sub-range, it boasts an IP65 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made of vanished Aluminium with a PBT terminal cap, PMMA front screen, and PC cover, presented in a yellow color. It allows for a maximum cable length of 50m, with net dimensions of 35 mm in width and 40.8 mm in depth. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 20m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 950 nm. Power consumption is max 3 W for the emitter and max 5 W for the receiver without load, featuring 48 beams with a 30mm beam gap. It includes 2 x digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 17ms / 0.017 s, with a reset time of 100ms / 0.1 s when SYNC is interrupted and 2 s. The resolution is set at 30mm for hand protection, and it is designed to withstand an ambient air temperature for storage of -25 to +70°C.
