Pilz PILZ-631022 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection with a resolution of 30mm, capable of detecting opaque objects. It features a variety of functions including test, manual/automatic restart, EDM reset, muting, blanking, GUI coding, PNP/NPN connection, and cascading. This model operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 306.3 mm. It is designed with muting, blanking, and cascading options and has no dead zone for hand protection, comprising an emitter and receiver pair. The rated current ranges from 20mA to 300mA for external lamps, and it connects via a 5-pin M12 connector for the emitter and 12-pin M12 connectors for the receiver, with variations depending on the model. Part of the Advanced sub-range, it has a protective height of 300mm and is IP65 rated for protection. The supply voltage requirement is 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc. Constructed with a vanished Aluminium housing, PBT terminal cap, PMMA front screen, and PC cover, it features a yellow housing. The maximum cable length is 50m, with a net width of 35 mm and a sensing distance ranging from 0.2m to 20m. It utilizes infrared LED light with a maximum power consumption of 3W for the emitter and 5W for the receiver without load, across 16 beams with a 30mm beam gap. The net depth is 40.8 mm, with a wavelength of 950 nm. It can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C and offers 2 digital outputs (NPN or PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with a response time of 13ms.
