Pilz PILZ-630749 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting 14mm opaque objects with an emitter and receiver pair. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 1733.3 mm. This part falls under the Basic sub-range and features a protective height of 1650mm. It is equipped with a 4-pin M12 connector for the emitter and an 8-pin M12 connector for the receiver, ensuring secure connections. The degree of protection is rated at IP65, suitable for various industrial environments. The PILZ-630749 requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and is constructed from painted aluminium housing with a PC cap and PMMA front screen, presented in a yellow color. The maximum cable length is 50m, with a net width of 32.3 mm and a sensing distance ranging from 0.2m to 6m. It utilizes infrared LED light with a wavelength of 950 nm and has a power consumption of a maximum of 2.5 W for the emitter and 3.5 W for the receiver without load. The device features 176 beams with a 14mm beam gap, a net depth of 36.9 mm, and offers two digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) from the receiver OSSD outputs. It has a response time of 47ms / 0.047 s and is designed for a resolution of 14mm for finger protection. The ambient air temperature for storage is rated between -25 and +70°C.
