Pilz PILZ-630742 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. It features both manual and automatic restart functions, an External Device Monitoring (EDM) Reset, and operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. This model, part of the Basic sub-range, has a net height of 683.2 mm and offers a protective height of 600mm. It is equipped with a 4-pin M12 connector for the emitter and an 8-pin M12 connector for the receiver, ensuring secure connections. The PILZ-630742 is housed in painted aluminium with a PC cap and a PMMA front screen, colored yellow, and has dimensions of 32.3 mm in width and 36.9 mm in depth. It supports a sensing distance from 0.2m to 6m with a light color of infrared LED (IR), featuring a wavelength of 950 nm. The device's power consumption is max 2.5 W for the emitter and max 3.5 W for the receiver without load, and it operates with a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.). It offers a degree of protection of IP65, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The PILZ-630742 also includes 2 x digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, has a response time of 22ms, and is designed with 64 beams with a 14mm beam gap, ensuring comprehensive coverage for safety applications.
