Pilz PILZ-630729 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting 30mm opaque objects across an emitter and receiver pair. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and offers a protective height of 1650mm. This unit features a 4-pin M12 connector for the emitter and a 5-pin M12 connector for the receiver, falling under the Basic sub-range category. The device is encased in a painted aluminium housing with a PC cap and a PMMA front screen, presented in a yellow color. It supports a maximum cable length of 50m and has a net width of 32.3mm. The sensing distance spans from 0.2m to 19m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 950 nm. Power consumption is max 2W for the emitter and max 3W for the receiver without load, featuring 88 beams with a 30mm beam gap. The net depth is 36.9mm, and it operates with a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal). It is designed with an IP65 degree of protection, two digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, and a response time of 23ms. The ambient air temperature for storage is rated at -25 to +70°C.
