Pilz PILZ-630726 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm across an emitter and receiver pair. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and offers a protective height of 1350mm. This unit features a 4-pin M12 connector for the emitter and a 5-pin M12 connector for the receiver, falling under the Basic sub-range category. The device is encased in a yellow-painted aluminum housing with a PC cap and PMMA front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It is designed to work with a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 2W for the emitter and 3W for the receiver without load. The PILZ-630726 can facilitate a sensing distance from 0.2m up to 19m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 950 nm. It features 72 beams with a 30mm beam gap, ensuring a resolution suitable for hand protection. The device also includes 2 digital outputs (PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 20ms. Its dimensions are 1433.2mm in height, 32.3mm in width, and 36.9mm in depth, with a maximum cable length of 50m. The ambient air temperature for storage is specified from -25 to +70°C.
