Pilz PILZ-504224 is a non-contact door switch designed for magnetic safety applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +70°C and features an actuator protective cap with a single connection suitable for electronic/electromechanical relay systems. This model has a rated current of 0.5A for the safety-contact maximum current and comes pre-wired with a 5-meter cable that terminates in bare end flying leads. The dimensions of the switch are W26mm x H36mm x L13mm, and it offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67 and IP69K. The square switch and actuator are housed in yellow PBT, with the cable insulation made from PUR. It operates at a rated voltage of 24Vdc and has a sensing distance ranging from 8mm (Sao) to 26mm (Sar). The PILZ-504224 includes 2 Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contacts and does not have Normally Closed (NC) auxiliary contacts, with the contact type being 2NO (safety contact; reed).
